Key Responsibilities

Dr. Joy Hendrick

Dr. Hendrick is a faculty member in our Exercise Science and Sports Studies department, and she co-chairs the Middle States Self-Study Steering Committee. Dr. Patricia Francis

Dr. Francis is the Executive Assistant to the President, and she co-chairs the Middle States Self-Study Steering Committee. She is a key contact for any questions related to the Self-Study process.

Steering Committee

The nine-member Self-Study Steering Committee is comprised of four faculty members, three administrators, one professional staff member and 1 student. Members serve as liasons between the Steering Committee and the six Special Emphasis Area Work Groups.

Gail Wood

Ms. Wood is the Directory of Libraries, and she chairs the Planning and Assessment Special Emphasis Area Work Group. She is a key contact for any questions related to the Planning and Assessment Work Group.

Dr. William Buxton

Dr. Buxton is a faculty member in our Education department, and he chairs the Equity, Access and Diversity Special Emphasis Area Work Group. Dr. Jeffery Swartwood

Dr. Swartwood is a faculty member in our Psychology department, and he chairs the Institutional Context (Internal) Special Emphasis Area Work Group. Dr. Ray Goldberg
