This position is the second highest ranking within the Division of Student Affairs. Primary responsibilities include the coordination of a comprehensive residence life program housing over 3000 undergraduate students, the development and management of a $6 million operating budget, the establishment and implementation of program goals and objectives, the assessment of program effectiveness and the supervision of the College's coordinator of judicial programs. The residential services department includes 26 professional and clerical staff, 44 custodial staff and over 200 paraprofessional student staff. Areas of supervision have included multicultural affairs, counseling, career services, orientation and advisement.

DIRECTOR OF RESIDENCE LIFE, September, 1976 - June, 1980

This position included responsibility for the selection, orientation, training and supervision of 13 residence hall professionals and 100 undergraduate resident assistants. This position also assisted in the coordination of campus wide programming efforts which dealt with alcohol and drug education, women's issues, career planning, educational programming, student advisement and orientation and residence hall judicial affairs.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF HOUSING, June, 1975 - September, 1986

This position coordinated the room selection processes for both new and returning students, coordinated the damage assessment process, reviewed all requests for room and board terminations, and supervised the development and publication of all housing notices, brochures and literature.
