State University of New York College at Cortland offers
programs of study in the liberal arts and a number of
professional fields. Forty-six majors are available to
students. The College views both liberal and
professional education as integral to its mission and
believes that all study which teaches students to think
prepares them for earning a living as well as living a
full life.
SUNY Cortland is a moderate sized institution with
approximately 5,000 undergraduate students and 1,200
graduate students. The campus is located in Cortland,
a small city in the geographic center of New York
adjacent to the Finger Lakes and within an hour's
drive of Syracuse, Ithaca and Binghamton.
