COMPUTER NOTEBOOK LOAN POLICY
Computer notebooks (laptops) may be reserved from Academic Computing Services for a period of two weeks. Extensions are not normally granted. To borrow a laptop computer, contact the Academic Computing Services Secretary at ext. 5793 at least 48 hours in advance of the desired loan period to schedule a time for pick-up in Winchell Hall. A loan agreement must be signed indicating that you have received basic use instruction and indicating that you will adhere to the following terms and conditions:
- You work for the College or are associated with the College in an official capacity.
- Your signature on the Loan Agreement for Computer Notebooks (Laptops) acknowledges receipt of the items listed therein and signifies your agreement to return them on the appointed due date. You will deliver them in person on that date to the Departmental Secretary in Winchell Hall.
- All items signed out are for your individual use, and may not be loaned to or assigned to another individual.
- Computer hardware and software has been certified to be in working condition at the time of sign-out. Notify the Academic Computing Department Secretary at 753-5793 within 24 hours of any malfunctioning items.
- You are responsible for any damage that you incur, including loss of any equipment. You may be charged for the repair or replacement of any damaged item.
- You will not copy, disclose, or transfer any software issued. You will adhere to copyright laws, and not violate the terms of any software license agreement.
- Violation or failure to abide by the conditions in this agreement may result in the suspension of future loan privileges, and/or further action by the College.
