Campus Cable TV System Policy

Classroom Media Services is responsible for oversight of the SUNY Cortland-Time Warner Cable TV contract and in collaboration with Residential Services is the primary contact for administrative issues related to the contract. Overall responsibility for the campus cable system technical compliance resides with Classroom Media Services. Residential Services will be consulted regarding ongoing programming provisions.

Residence Halls staff will contact Time Warner directly to resolve technical problems in those buildings. Classroom Media Services Staff will contact Time Warner to resolve technical problems in academic buildings.

Cable TV feeds are available in residence hall rooms and all classrooms. Upon departmental request and funding, Cable TV feeds may be installed other teaching spaces. Under the terms of the SUNY Cortland contract with Time Warner, Cable TV feeds can not be installed in individual faculty or staff offices.
