The Division of Institutional Advancement is SUNY Cortland's primary source for communicating with the outside world, as well as within the campus community. It articulates and promotes the College's mission to the general public while giving special emphasis to students, parents, alumni, benefactors, faculty and staff.
The office is a service-oriented area that assists the College by enhancing its institutional image as well as developing and building relationships with numerous constituencies. Its goals focus on building support, assisting in marketing the College to students, raising funds and strengthening bonds with graduates.
